Public Projects

The project scope involves Remedial Roofing Repair on five educational facilities, approximately two stories, utilizing SBS modified bitumen roofing, fully adhered EPDM and PVC thermoplastic single-ply roofing, asphalt shingle roofing and standing seam metal roofing. The project encompasses approximately 284,000 square feet on 47 separate roof areas.

The project consists of full-depth removal of the access drive north of the Buffalo Grove Fitness Center (601 Deerfield Parkway, Buffalo Grove, IL 60089) and a reconstruction connecting it to the north-south pathway nearby. Due to grading concerns on the site, a retaining wall and an underdrain will also be installed to adequately accommodate the substantial changes in grade.

The proposed construction consists of 2,000 gpm well pumping equipment with pitless adapter, masonry structure, installation of pressure filtration units and steel stairs and platforms pre-purchased by the City, chemical feed systems, HVAC, controls and instrumentation, emergency generator, utilities, site and civil improvements, pavement, and other miscellaneous items of work

The proposed construction consists of installing approximately 980 lineal feet of 8-inch and 1,290 lineal feet of 12-inch water main via directional drilling and open cut methods, including new hydrants, valves and other miscellaneous items of work. The contract will include all work necessary to install the water main, install water service lines via directional drilling or open cut methods, completely replace lead service lines, reconnect existing water service lines, restore the roadway, and perform all restoration to return the area to its original condition.

Approximately 4,000 feet of curb and gutter; 1,800 square yards of asphalt pavement patching; 1.6 acres of topsoil and hydroseeding; sidewalk replacement; and all incidental and collateral work necessary to complete the project. The Work shall be performed along River Road from Ferry Road to Warrenville Road.

The proposed construction consists of one (1) service lateral point repair, 280 LF of 4” service lateral CIPP in Twin Lakes Basin 7, one (1) sanitary sewer point repair, and other miscellaneous items of work.
