Public Projects

The Project includes the following Work: Replacement of the Primary and Secondary Digester covers; construction of proposed Primary Digester No. 3 with cover, expansion of the Digester Control Building, and access drives; relocation and replacement of sludge recirculation pumps, primary sludge transfer pumps, boiler/heat exchanger and addition of a second boiler/heat exchanger, and hydronic system; demo of the Primary Digester mixing system and installation of proposed jet mixing system for all three digesters; installation of recirculation piping, gas take-off piping, and feed sludge piping to all three digesters; installation of proposed CHP system and gas treatment system; construction of proposed FOG/HSW Receiving Station and access drive; installation of FOG/HSW pumps, FOG/HSW macerator, and FOG/HSW submersible mixers; and associated plumbing, electrical, instrumentation, HVAC, and other miscellaneous items of work

The project consists of full-depth removal of the access drive north of the Buffalo Grove Fitness Center (601 Deerfield Parkway, Buffalo Grove, IL 60089) and a reconstruction connecting it to the north-south pathway nearby. Due to grading concerns on the site, a retaining wall and an underdrain will also be installed to adequately accommodate the substantial changes in grade.

The project includes, but is not limited to, the following: regrading, removal/replacement of concrete flatwork, new exterior sports lighting, water to waste splashpad, fencing, soccer goals, relocation of storm structure(s) and associated underground lines. Refer to the drawings and project manual for the full scope of work.

The project consists of pavement removals, unclassified excavation and embankment construction, earthwork and grading, drainage, paving, lighting, electrical, security fencing, pavement marking, erosion control, various utility removals, topsoiling and landscaping, as well as all incidental and collateral work necessary to complete the improvements shown on the plans and as described herein.

The proposed construction consists of 2,000 gpm well pumping equipment with pitless adapter, masonry structure, installation of pressure filtration units and steel stairs and platforms pre-purchased by the City, chemical feed systems, HVAC, controls and instrumentation, emergency generator, utilities, site and civil improvements, pavement, and other miscellaneous items of work

The proposed construction consists of installing approximately 980 lineal feet of 8-inch and 1,290 lineal feet of 12-inch water main via directional drilling and open cut methods, including new hydrants, valves and other miscellaneous items of work. The contract will include all work necessary to install the water main, install water service lines via directional drilling or open cut methods, completely replace lead service lines, reconnect existing water service lines, restore the roadway, and perform all restoration to return the area to its original condition.

The Contract work shall consist of furnishing all materials, labor, equipment, etc. required to install approximately 2,000 linear feet of storm sewer ranging in size from 8-inch to 24-inch, storm manholes, catch basins, inlets, miscellaneous water and sanitary sewer service removal and replacements, pavement patching, grind and overlay, concrete curb and gutter removal and replacement, sidewalk removal and replacement, and parkway restoration, and all other incidental work necessary to complete this improvement along Park Street in the City of Rolling Meadows.

The proposed construction consists of one (1) service lateral point repair, 280 LF of 4” service lateral CIPP in Twin Lakes Basin 7, one (1) sanitary sewer point repair, and other miscellaneous items of work.

Replacement of auditorium lighting at Harlem High School and other Work indicated in the Contract Documents.

The scope of the project involves the removal and replacement of the walk-in cooler attached to the kitchen, at Harlem Middle School in Loves Park, IL. This work shall include the removal of the existing slab and replacing it with a new slab and bollards and a new walk-in cooler, with TPO roof with flashings. The Contractor shall provide all electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and structural work necessary to make a complete installation per manufacturer’s requirements, and to comply with all building and health codes.
