Mechanical, electrical, and temperature controls scope of work for the installation of new lighting fixtures and fume extraction hoods for the welding & machine shops located in Building H includes but is not limited to:
1. Install new lighting fixtures at welding booths throughout welding shop and provide associated controls.
2. Perform pre-construction test & balancing of existing fume exhaust system and associated supply air systems within the welding shop rooms.
3. Replacement of welding fume extraction hoods and modification of associated ductwork.
4. Perform final test & balance of fume exhaust system and associated supply air systems within the welding shop rooms.
5. Start-up and commissioning of modified welding shop fume exhaust control system.
6. Alternate Scope #3: Griding Room Exhaust Modification
a. Extend existing exhaust ductwork in Grinding Room 190N and relocate existing grille to provide low return.
7. Alternate Scope #4: New welding booths in Machine Lab 195.
a. Provide new extraction arms and ductwork to connect to existing fume exhaust system.
b. Provide new IVEC control components for new welding booths and tie in to existing control system.
c. Provide provisions for new electrical circuits for new welding booths.
8. Alternate Scope #5: Replacement of existing cartridge filters and cleaning of cartridges at dust collector serving welding shop.
