Kishwaukee College - Greenhouse Replacement

Project will be constructed under a single prime contract.

The Work of Project is defined by the Contract Documents and consists of the following:
1. Removal of existing Greenhouse in its entirety and selective demolition of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing inside headhouse.
2. Grading, underground piping, extension of existing water main, and sanitary connection for new Greenhouse
3. Concrete foundation with radiant slab-on-grade heating.
4. Construction of greenhouse structure, polycarbonate, mechanical gas-fired units, evaporative pad with dampers, exhaust fans with dampers, HAF fans, retractable shade system, and lighting.
5. Construction of new corridor from Greenhouse to existing headhouse.
6. Replacement of existing mechanical boiler inside existing headhouse, and connections to mechanical and plumbing inside Greenhouse.
7. Installation of Greenhouse irrigation system.
8. Installation of bench top root-zone heating system.
9. Installation and calibration of greenhouse control system, including control of all mechanical and irrigation.
